Your first report in 10 minutes

Check your key numbers, filter the report, add a column and download your first CSV export.

Applies to: Plugins bought from WooCommerce.com and from axcelershub.com

After this page, you will have filtered a report, added a column and downloaded it as a CSV file.

Before you start

Step 1: Check your numbers on Overview

  1. Go to WooCommerce → Recurring Reports. The Overview tab opens.
  2. Read the number cards. By default they are Active subscribers, New subscribers, Cancelled, Expired, Total renewals value and Churn rate.
  3. In Date range, select Last month. The other choices are This month (the default), Half Yearly, Quarterly, Year, Last year and Custom.
  4. Select a card to show that number in the chart. Use Chart type to switch between Line, Bar and Pie.

Overview numbers are refreshed in the background. A brand-new install may take a short while to fill in. See Overview.

Step 2: Filter the report

  1. Select the Reports tab. You see a table of records with the default columns.
  2. Select the Filters box above the table. A panel opens with the default filters: Product, Coupon, Date range, Status and Payment method.
  3. Select Status and tick Active.
  4. Select Apply filters.

The table now shows only matching records. An Active filters list appears under the picker. Each filter has Edit and Remove. Clear all filters removes them all. See Filters.

Step 3: Add a column

  1. In the table header, select Columns.
  2. At the bottom of the list, select Add column.
  3. Pick a source on the left, then type in Search fields. For example, search for “Payment method”.
  4. Select the field, then select Add column.

The new column appears in the table. In the Columns list you can drag columns to reorder them. See Columns.

Step 4: Export the report

  1. Select Export CSV at the top right of the Reports tab. The Export Report dialog opens.
  2. Under What to export, keep Current filters. It shows how many records match.
  3. Under Columns, keep Visible columns.
  4. Select Start Export.

The export runs in the background. You can close the window and keep working. The Recent exports dialog opens and shows its progress.

Step 5: Download the file

  1. In Recent exports, wait until the export shows Ready.
  2. Select Download. The CSV file saves to your computer.

You can also find every export on the Exports tab. Files are kept for 7 days, then removed automatically.

What you should see

  • A CSV file in your downloads folder with the columns you chose.
  • The same file listed on the Exports tab, with File, Rows, Size and Started by details.
