Add a column
Before you start
- You are on the Reports tab. See The Reports tab.
Steps
- In the table header, select Columns.
- At the bottom of the panel, select Add column. The Add column dialog opens.
- Pick a source tab on the left. Each tab shows how many fields it has.
- Type in Search fields, then select a field.
- Check Column name, Format and Align. Change them if you like.
- Select Add column.
What you should see
The new column appears at the end of the table and of the Columns list.
Sources in the column picker
The dialog only lists fields from active plugins. Fields already in the table are left out.
Tab | What it holds | Examples |

Reorder columns
- Select Columns.
- Drag a row by its handle to a new place.
You can also hover over a row and use the up and down arrows (Move up, Move down). With the keyboard, focus a column name and press Alt or Option with the up or down arrow.
Remove a column
- Select Columns.
- Hover over the row and select x (Remove).
To show it again, add it back with Add column.
Rename or change a column
- Select Columns.
- Select the column name, or the pencil icon. The Edit column dialog opens.
- Change Column name, Format or Align. You can also pick a different field.
- Select Save.
For S ID and M ID, selecting the name shows a Column name box instead. Type the new name and select Save.
ID columns
S ID and M ID stay pinned on the left when you scroll sideways. Selecting an ID opens the record drawer.
- On a store with one plugin, its ID column cannot be removed. It shows a lock icon.
- On a store with both plugins, you can remove one ID column, but not both.
The first ID column decides what customer, order and address filters read. See Filters.
Where your columns are saved
Your column list, order and names are saved in your browser, per site and per user. Another user, or you in another browser, sees their own column set. Exports use the columns you see. See Exports.
